I am starting this blog with the aim of leaving something behind for the community from which I learnt so much, particularly for the students in the lower years. I hope you will find this interesting and educative.

The name, of course, should be explanatory in and of itself. When you read a post, I want you to imagine us two sat at a table in the Aula and just talking about whatever topic is addressed. I understand that it’s not so easy to comprehend everything that goes on at the university and sometimes we feel a bit overwhelmed by all the events and goings-on at the university so I am just here to give all the information and tips gathered over the years I’ve spent here.
Because I am a medical student in the English programme, a lot of the information I have will be targeted towards this group. However, if anyone from another programme has a question, I am more than happy to inquire on your behalf and get the necessary information. I do not claim to be a voice of authority on any subject discussed here so you can (and should) always confirm any information I offer with the responsible bodies.
I would like to maintain positive atmosphere on this blog in order to allow for open and candid conversation amongst ourselves, so I ask that each reader/commenter be respectful towards others who visit this page.
If you need to contact me privately, please do so in the contact form on this page. You can ask questions, ask for advice and give suggestions and I am more than happy to answer.
Should you spot an error in any post, be it typographical or based on the content, please reach out to me and I will make the necessary corrections.
Thank you.
