The Pécs Emergency Society, a student organization at the Medical faculty, offers hands-on experience and practical skills for General medicine students. The program consists of two groups with different schedules, covering topics like cannulation and trauma care. Since we are at the beginning of the semester, I’d like to think we’ve started mapping out our study plans, checking out the syllabuses and such. No pressure if you haven’t, but you should probably get to it soon- week 1 becomes week 5 real quick.
The Surgical Society is starting up their programme for the semester next week and in preparation for this, there was an info session yesterday, the 7th of February. I attended it and now I’m back with all the intel.
The Peer Programme at the University is a valuable resource for students, offering support in study tips, social life balance, bureaucracy for international students, and mental health. Students can connect with peers through the website, email, in person, or at events. Be sure to ask questions freely and check emails for responses.

If you’ve failed a semester, it’s important to know you’re not alone. You can either take a passive semester, allowing a break, or activate and continue, but act before February 3, 2024.
